Strong Support from Kosovo Fans

Despite the defeat, Kosovo received strong support from the stands at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion. The stadium was sold out, and Austrian media highlighted the large presence of Kosovo fans who had travelled from Kosovo and from the diaspora to support the national team. ORF reported on the large number of Kosovo supporters in the stadium.

This was Kosovo’s second match in Group B3. After their 1–0 victory over Ireland in the opening match, the “Dardanians” have now suffered their first defeat of this Nations League campaign.
